Electives- Robotics, VAPA & More

At Jackson, we believe that electives play an important role in helping students explore interests, build confidence, and develop new skills. From hands-on courses like Project Lead the Way and Mesa to creative programs in Art, Digital Art, Multi-Media, Yearbook, Orchestra, Band, Drama, P.E. Enrichment, and Dance, our elective offerings allow students to connect classroom learning with real-world applications. We also offer a variety of electives that promote leadership and support academic skills, such as Academic Leadership, Student Council, AVID, Spanish, English Language Development (ELD), and both Math and ELA Intervention courses.   

Students may request elective courses for the upcoming school year during the designated selection period. While we strive to honor these preferences, final schedules are determined based on a combination of student data, academic needs, and course availability. If a student wishes to request a schedule change, written requests can be submitted in the school office. Please note that such changes are not guaranteed and will be considered based on space and scheduling constraints.
